Founded in 1936, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, Inc. is composed of delegates from nearly 100 Irish, Fraternal, Catholic, and Public Safety Organizations as well as other Civic, Social, and Athletic Organizations.

Grand Marshal Dr. John A. Brennan serves the President and CEO of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of NJ. He also serves as Executive Vice President of Barnabas Health. A resident of Randolph and parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Parish, his family roots are in Dublin and Kilkenny.
Deputy Grand Marshal Marion C. O’Neill is the Manager of Corporate Contributions at PSEG. She resides in North Caldwell and is active in Notre Dame Parish. She and her family are well known to many in the local Irish-American community and trace their roots to Counties Roscommon and Tipperary.
We are also very pleased to announce that the 2014 Parade will be dedicated to our Committee’s Counsel Emeritus and Seton Hall University School of Law Professor Emeritus, Dr. Francis P. McQuade, Esq. With his wife Theresa, Doc McQuade has been a mainstay in the Irish-American community and a loyal supporter of our Parade for decades. The recognition is well-deserved; congratulations Doc!
